Wolves are amazing animals.

But they are also known for killing farm animals, like chickens and sheep.

Last night, my roommate called saying she was hurt.

So I rushed home. But she was fine. It was just a joke.

That’s Nicole for you. She’s done that to me before, too.

It’s risky to cry wolf like that… Again and again…

Yeah, one day she might really need help. And you know what?

We won’t be there!

A long time ago, a shepherd was bored while guarding his sheep.

So, for fun, he would shout, “Wolf!”

Each time villagers ran to help him.

And each time, they found no wolf.

Well, then a wolf really did attack.

But when the boy cried “wolf!” no one came.

You can probably guess how this story ends.
