This is a very intresthing phrasal verb that can be used in a romantic sense and in other contexts as well.

So , if you win someone over , you make them like you .

If you like someone , but that person doesn’t consider you as someone they’d date, You could impress that person and win them over.

If you fall for someone , you find them attractive and become interested in being their boyfriend or girlfriend .

A couple of years ago , she fell for a guy who wouldn’t move out of his parents’ house .

As you’ll see in this example , it can also be used in the sence of falling for a prank , meaning believing something id true when it’s not.
