In April, Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó posted a video on Twitter.
UPRISING
In the video, Guaidó said he had the support of Venezuelan troops to begin the “final phase” to end Maduro’s presidency.
Government forces moved against opposition protesters, calling Guaidó’s efforts a small_scale uprising and criticizing him for launching a revolt.
An uprising is an effort by many people to change the government or leader of a country, sometimes violently.
It is an act of rising up.
An uprising is similar to a rebellion, revolt or coup.
