Cheeky

The photograph was taken and shared by a park ranger.

They seem to be copying human behaviour.

The park’s Instagram page said, “ those gorilla gals are always acting cheeky so this was the perfect shot of their true personalities! “

To behave in a cheeky way is to act in a way that does not show respect.

But it is not a serious act of rebellion - being cheeky is just a way of being humorous and playful.
