متن انگلیسی درس
Hello, guys. How are you doing?
Welcome to the stage number 4 of lesson 3.
So, look at this picture. Which words does it remind you of? There are actually two words. The first word is “wholesale”. As you can see there are lots of jeans here and wholesale as you know means selling things in large quantities. And the second word is… Yes, the second word is expensive. These jeans are very expensive. So, one more time, wholesale and expensive.
Let’s go for the next part.
This word is a verb. And it means to invent something specially with intelligence or imagination. What is that? Do you know? That’s “devise”. Right, devise.
The next word is an adjective. Which means showing the characteristics of a particular type of person or thing, or you can say something that is usual or normal. What is that? That word is, “typical”, typical.
The next word is an adjective which means not easy to find or get, or something that is rare. Can you remember this one? Yes, that’s scarce, something that you can hardly find.
The next word actually means something that is happening once a year. It’s an adjective. Right, that’s “annual”. Annual, something that happens once a year.
The next word actually is a verb. Which means to make someone do or believe something by giving them a good reason. Make willing, right?
What is it? That would be, “persuade”, persuade.
The next word, as you can see in this picture, means selling of goods in large quantities and at low prices. It’s, “wholesale”, wholesale.
Alright, that’s the end of our test.
I’m sure you did well, and once again, repeat, repeat, and repeat. That’s the only way to learn a language.
See you next time, good luck.
