Sometimes people make you really angry and you just want to say to that person, oh you make me angry. Of course there are better ways to say that.

Whether you’re very angry or just a little bit angry. You can express the specific level that you’re feeling. So, these are all adjectives. These in the middle. These can be for a little bit, they can be for a lot. It depends. If you say I’m very annoyed, it’s this but, if you say I’m a little bit annoyed, it’s this. They’re not only this and they’re not only this.

Pronunciation, annoyed. I’m really annoyed. angry. I’m really angry. Irate the stress is on the second syllable, irate. Usually with this word you hear quite. Don’t talk to him. He’s quite irate right now. Mad. now this can mean crazy. And it can mean angry. So, if someone says don’t talk to him, he’s mad. You might want clarification you might want to say mad or mad. Cross. This one is very, very British. Americans they don’t use this one. This one’s just British and very cross also other than my parents. Ticked off is very fun and we’ll come back to that in a moment. Upset now, upset has two meanings. One is” I’m upset. like you’re sad. The second meaning is this you’re a bit angry. A little bit angry. I’m upset with you. Don’t talk to me. Oh, which reminds me all of these adjectives. the preposition that you need is at or with. For example, my friend was really mad at me, because I ate his pizza or last night I dreamt that my best friend was trying to kill me. ,so I woke up still feeling quite angry with my best friend.

So, peeved, Irked, miffed, they all mean a little bit annoyed with something or a situation or a person. But, they’re not very common to use or hear. but, an example would be he was listing his best friends and he didn’t say my name. I’m a bit miffed and the last one irritated. So, these ones usually imply that you’re a little bit angry. these ones remember depends how you modify it. it could mean vary. it could mean a little bit. But, if you’re very angry. Other ways that you can say this person annoys me. Someone makes you very angry. They wind you up. So, again this cat could say, ah he really winds me up.

Gets my goat. This one I love this expression. It’s fun to use. it’s more American than English. English people don’t often say this one. But, it’s fun. So, the cat could say really gets my goat. Really makes me angry. again kind of old-fashioned. Kind of American. But, you might still hear it and it is fun to use.

Urgh!! gets me riled up. When someone makes you very angry. He gets you riled up. these ones are much stronger. Again, the kind of vulgar. So, if you don’t like those words, don’t use them. but, you might still hear them. So, it’s good to understand. Urgh!! pisses me off I really fuckes me off that’s much stronger. You can hear it right and ticks me off. Remember before with the adjectives to tick someone off or to feel ticked off, that is not vulgar. That one is fine to use with everyone. It’s not vulgar not a swear word it’s quite mild for that reason. because, it’s a mild word.

Remember depending on how you modify it. it could mean very angry. It could mean just a little bit angry. so, for example, the cat could say he really ticks me off. That would mean Barry or I’m a bit ticked off, my Instagram post only got five likes. when you’re in an annoying situation, we have a special way to talk about that. For example, if you’re like me and your phone sucks. It keeps breaking. I’m just trying to send a message, but you keep breaking. Stupid phone. So, that or any situation which is annoying say this, oh this is a pain or if you want to add more emphasis. Oh this is such a pain. if you want more emphasis, it’s a pain in the neck or ass, phone is a pain in the ass.

Remember American English pain in the ass. Oh my god that’s a pain in the ass. something I hear in London I don’t think Americans use it is this, uh, taking the tube during rush hour in London it’s a pain in the tits. Remember tits means boobs, but it doesn’t matter if you’re a male or a female. You can say it , it’s still fine. It’s that weird British sense of humor that we have. We can also say she dropped her phone and she lost her shit. again that’s quite strong. it’s quite vulgar. That’s a swear word. Be careful or a British thing to say would be, she dropped her phone, she lost her rag. you can also say she blew a fuse. Blew that’s the past of blow to blow a fuse means this, it’s the same thing. Or she flew off the handle.

blew that’s the past of blow. Flue is the past of fly. All three they mean she did this. She went crazy. Fly off the handle is quite interesting. it means this, but more specifically. It means you act inappropriately angry. So, if you get angry and you say something bad to someone, because you’re angry. When you apologize. You should say I’m really sorry that I flew off the handle.
