سلام، من «فیل» هستم و میخواهم درباره‌ی تفاوت «all together» و «altogether» با شما صحبت کنم. بله تلفظشان شبیه هم است، اما _ از نظر معنایی_ در واقع تفاوت دارند.« همه باهم» که دو کلمه هست و دو ‘L’( منظور تا ال کلمه all هست) به معنای همه چیز یا همه کس بودن؛ یا به همراه هرچیز یا هرکس دیگر، چیزی را همراه هم انجام دادن! بیایید «همه باهم» را بخوانیم. یا (به عنوان مثال) : همه سبزیجات را باهم در یک ظرف بگذار و مخلوطشان کن.«altogether» که یک کلمه و یک ال هم دارد، یک قید هست و به معنای تماماً یا کاملا هست. برادر من یک شخصیت کاملاً متفاوت از من دارد. اون هیچ شباهتی به من ندارد. بنابراین اگر شما کاملا را بعنوان یک کلمه(در مقابل all together که دو کلمه بود) به کار ببرید معنای کاملاً یا تماماً می‌دهد. و اگر ما همه باهم را به عنوان دو کلمه باهم داشته باشیم،این معنای« همه چیز یا همه کس باهم » می دهد.

Hi I’m Phil and I’m going to tell you the difference between ‘all together’ and ‘altogether’. Yes, they sound the same, but they’re not. ‘All together’ – that’s two words and two ‘L’s – means ‘everything or everyone being or doing something together with everything or everyone else’. Let’s sing all together! Or: Put the vegetables in the bowl and mix them all together. ‘Altogether’ – that’s one word and one ‘L’ – is an adverb and it means ‘completely’ or ‘entirely’. My brother has an altogether different personality to me. He’s nothing like me! So if you have ‘altogether’ as one complete word, it means ‘completely’ or ‘entirely’. And if we have ‘all together’ as two words together then that means ‘everything or everyone together’.
