VIP Point-of-View Stories – Scramble
Hello VIP. Welcome to the point-of-view stories for this month. Let’s get started, same story, but different times.
First, let’s just imagine we’re along with Franz as everything is happening. So we’ll have the feeling that it’s kind of happening as we watch it.
So Franz is dejected. He is very dejected. He feels very dejected. He feels dejected all the time. One reason is that he has no job. Another is that he has no girlfriend. But the biggest reason of all is that he has a big flabby gut. But perhaps the deepest reason is his limiting belief. He believes that he is a big fat loser. He looks in the mirror every day and he says “I’m a big, fat, flabby loser.” And he walks around all the time thinking that, believing that.
Well, one day he’s walking along and he’s moping as usual with his head and his shoulders down and he is wallowing in his misery. He’s making himself feel worse and worse and worse and because of this he’s not watching where he’s going and he steps in front of a bus and bam he’s hit by the bus and wham his head hits the ground, hits the street.
Now, luckily, he’s not seriously injured, very lucky for him, but his thoughts in his mind are totally scrambled. He’s unconscious for a few hours and when he wakes up he’s dazed and confused. He’s totally dazed and confused and he remains dazed and confused for several days. He can’t think straight. He can’t think clearly.
Well, he’s so tired of being dazed and confused he decided to just watch a move, rest his brain a little bit, and he watched the movie ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ with Will Smith and he is inspired by the movie. In fact, the movie implants powerful new beliefs into this brain, into his mind and at the end of the movie he has totally new powerful beliefs and from then on he believes in himself. He has powerful beliefs, empowering beliefs, beliefs that make him feel good. And, very quickly, he loses the weight. He gets a job.
He gets a girlfriend. He’s happy and he looks fabulous.
Version number two of the story. Are you ready? I hope so, let’s start.
Since he was young, Franz has always been dejected. He has been dejected since about the age of five, until fairly recently. Franz has felt dejected, in other words, most of his life. For most of his life he has felt dejected.
Now, recently, he has been unemployed. He hasn’t had a girlfriend and he has had a very flabby gut, but that was not always the case. When he was younger, he was not flabby and yet he was still dejected.
So the root problem has always been his limiting beliefs. He has always felt that he was a loser. He has always looked into the mirror and said “You’re a loser.” And because he has had this limiting belief so long it has created a terrible situation for him where he’s unemployed, he has no girlfriend and he’s flabby and unhealthy.
So it has been a very sad life for him, a very depressed life feeling dejected all the time, until one day. One day he was moping and wallowing in his misery as usual and then he stepped into the street and was hit by a bus and, of course, his thoughts were scrambled. He was knocked unconscious and for several days after he was dazed and confused.
Until one night he watched ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ and the movie inspired him. More importantly, the movie implanted new powerful beliefs into his mind. These new powerful beliefs created a totally new powerful life for him. Once the beliefs changed, he quickly lost weight, quickly got a job, quickly got a girlfriend, felt happy and looked fabulous.
Let’s go to the future for our last version.
In the future there will be a guy named Franz and he’s gonna feel dejected all the time.
(For you new members, “gonna” means going to. It’s a casual way to say the future.
Don’t use it in writing that’s formal, but use in speech it’s fine.) So there’s gonna be a guy, there’s going to be a guy. His name will be Franz. He’s gonna be dejected all the time. He’s going to be dejected all the time. He’ll feel dejected all the time. He won’t have a job, he won’t have a girlfriend, but he will have a big flabby gut and he will have a terrible limiting belief. Every day he’s gonna look in the mirror and he’s gonna say “You’re a big, fat, flabby loser.”
Well, obviously, this is gonna create a terrible life for him. Until one day in the future, he’ll be moping along as usual. He’ll be moping and he’ll be wallowing in his misery and he’ll step in front of a bus and get hit by the bus and the impact, the crash will smack his head against the street. It will totally scramble his thoughts and he’s gonna be dazed and confused for several days afterwards.
He’ll be dazed and confused until one night when he watched the movie ‘Pursuit of Happiness’. And when he watches that movie he’ll feel inspired and the movie will implant new powerful beliefs into his mind, into his brain and those new beliefs will totally change his life.
Short afterwards, he’ll lose the weight, he’ll get a job and he’ll get a girlfriend and he’ll be happy. But perhaps most important of all how will he look? He’ll look fabulous.
And that’s the end of our point-of-view stories for this month. As usual, listen to these audios at least once a day for the full month if you can. Ten days is enough, two weeks, 30 days, it’s up to you. It’s flexible, but at least 10 days.
All right, don’t think about the grammar, just listen to the stories and enjoy them. See you again, bye-bye.
