Gosh I’m tired, the first day of classes is so busy but hey Ibrahim listen to what happened in my economics course today. The professor Dr. Johnson walked into the room and introduced herself as Sarah Johnson then she said you can call me sarah can you believe it?

Hey that Same thing happened to my biology 101 class this morning the professor walked in the room and told us to call him Tom.

I almost fell off my chair, the man is written three books and he tells students to call him Tom.

In my country we always say professor or doctor.

Yeah. We do the same thing in my country, I can’t call my professor Sarah.

Do you know something else that’s different close?

This morning our professor asked us to introduce ourselves and tell him why we’re interested in starting a business, that’s something that doesn’t happen at home.

I’m not sure I like how personal that feels.

Well I think professors here want to get to know their students. Maybe I guess there are more differences than we first thoought.
