So I bet that lecture was pretty interesting to you huh?

You mean because I’m a former TCK?

Aha.

Yeah it feels good to be understood.

Not bad.

You know I could identify with almost everything about the lecture described.

Oh, well then I guess you didn’t agree with everything.

Well the only thing that I didn’t agree with was the part of about relatives of not being comfortable with your relative.

Isn’t that a problem for you?

Are you close to relatives?

I am, yeah. Even though I didn’t see them very often growing up, whenever we were together we were just happy to see each other. So I think in that way, the distance made us closer.

That is good point.

I guess it’s exciting to be a TCK.

Well a lot of people think that, but it’s not always easy.

Now I mean for me, my family moved like every two years so I was really a nomad.

Nomad huh, you mean because he never felt like you had a permanent home?

Right. And now when people ask me like where you from I don’t know what to say.

Maybe you should say a different country every time just to keep the conversation interesting.

I like that, I think I will do that from now on.
