Hello my dear friends welcome to Lesson number 25 of absolutely essential words in this lesson like all the lessons we’re gonna introduce I learned twelve essential words please focus try to understand the meaning of these words and we’re gonna also teach you some other essential words in different sentences

so we’re gonna learn lots of words.

So let’s start with the first word of Lesson Number twenty five.

The first one is architect

architect

architect as you can see in this picture is a person who makes plans for buildings and other structures.

Or we can call him a maker or creator

a. the famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, designed his buildings to blend with their surroundings.

so the essential word here is blend which means mix.

b. An architect must have a knowledge of the materials that will be used in his structures.

So this is a first essential and nice word of Lesson Number twenty five and that is architect

matrimony

word number two is matrimony.

You can see there is a connection between this picture around matrimony.

So matrimony means married life; ceremony of marriage.

local governments still collect a fee for the man marriage license.

matrimony a very nice word.

b. Because of lack of money, the sweetness of their matrimony turned sour.

c. Some bachelors find it very difficult to give up their freedom for the blessings of matrimony.

That’s a very nice word.

There is one essential words in this sentence and that’s Batchelor.

We learned the meaning of Bachelor and The first lesson of five or four

so bachelor means single actually unmarried person bachelor

word number three is baggage.

So as you can see baggage are actually suitcases a person takes when he or she travels baggage.

squander

squander

squander means spend; waste foolishly.

As you can see this person is very sad and unhappy because he has squandered all of his money.

a. Do not squander your money by buying what you cannot use.

Yes that’s a very reasonable sentence reasonable point.

b. Because Freddy squandered his time watching television, he could not catch up on his homework.

c. In his will, Mr. Larson warned his children not to squander their inheritance.

squander is a verb which means to waste

foolishly and spend your money in a very bad way squander

the next essential word is abroad

abroad

abroad means outside one’s country; going around; far and wide

so abroad is the place that is outside your country.

We call hit abroad.

Let’s use this word in different examples abroad is a noun.

a. More people are going abroad for vacations.

Yes.

b. Is there any truth to the rumor abroad that school will be open all summer?

We have no idea actually.

And the last example says

c. the news of the president’s illness spread abroad.

It spread even to other parts of the country so abroad means outside one’s country.

Very nice word

fugitive

fugitive.

You can see this guy in this picture is a fugitive which means a runaway a person who is running away from something.

fugitive is a noun.

a. Paul was a fugitive from the slums, abandoned by all his friends.

The essential word here is abandoned which means leaved actually abandoned means to leave to quit actually

without the planning to come back

b. After escaping from prison, Tom led an unhappy life as a fugitive from the law.

He was running away from the law.

c. The fugitives from the unsuccessful revolution were captured.

They were imprisoned so a fugitive is a person running away from something especially law.

The next essential word is calamity.

Can you make a connection between this fixture and calamity.

You can see there has been a lot this actually country or city and that’s a calamity.

So calamity means a great misfortune; Serious trouble

a. Failure in one test should not be regarded as a calamity.

b. The death of her husband was a calamity that left Mrs. Marlowe numb.

That’s a great essential word.

Numb which means without the power of sensing something numb

c. What is more dismal than one calamity following upon the heels of another?

There is one essential word in this sentence that dismal

dismal means unhappy means depressing.

So that’s sets this is the essential word of this Listen calamity.

A great misfortune

the next word is pauper.

You can see in this picture he is a pauper.

Pauper means a very poor person.

Popper

a. The fire that destroyed his factory made Mr. Bloimson a popper.

It made him very poor.

b. The richest man is a pauper if he has no friends.

Oh that’s a very nice word.

That’s a very nice sentence.

c. Since he was once a pauper himself, Max is willing to help the needy man whenever he can.

So that’s very nice.

Needy means a very person who is poor a person who would need something so pauper means a very poor person

a very good word.

And next essential word is envy.

Envy can be the verb and can be then out.

Envy means jealousy; the object of jealousy; or to feel jealous

so it can be the verb.

And now as you can see in this picture the girl on the left she envies that girl on the right

a. Marilyn’s selection as Prom Queen made her the envy of every senior.

b. My parents taught me not to envy anyone else’s wealth.

c. Our envy of Nora’s skating ability is foolish because with practice all of us could do as well.

so envy means jealousy or to feel jealous.

Very nice very essential word.

the next essential word is collapse

collapse as you can see in this picture the Liberty Statue has collapsed

so collapse means a breakdown; to fall in; break down; fail suddenly; or fold together.

That’s the meaning of collapse

a. A heavy flood caused the bridge to collapse. to break down or to fall.

b. Hiss failure in chemistry meant the collapse of Bob’s summer plans.

Very nice sentence

c. Collapse the trays and store them in the closets.

so collapse means to fall in; break down or fail suddenly.

The next essential woed is prosecute

prosecute means bring before a court; follow up; or carry on

prosecutes

a. Drunken drivers should be prosecuted.

We should bring them to court

b. The district attorney refused to prosecute the case for lack of evidence.

c. The general prosecuted the war with vigor.

so that is the essential word here is vigor which means force and power

prosecute is a verb and the noun is prosecution.

Prosecution

the next essential word is bigamy.

As you can see in this picture of the man has two wives.

So bigamy means having two wives or two husbands at the same time

bigamy.

a. Some people look upon bigamy as double trouble.

I totally agree with that part

b. Mr. Wrinkle, Looking at his wife, thought bigamy was one crime he would never be guilty of

some religious groups are in favor of bigamy even though it is against the

law of the land.

So very essential word bigamy means having two wives or sometimes we can say two husbands.

So that’s the last words of Lesson Number twenty five.
