Lesson 23

Hello my dear friends. welcome to lesson number twenty three of five-four absolutely essential words.

In this lesson we are going to learn twelve essential and necessary words and we’re going to understand them in different examples.

We’re goanna also learn some other essential words in different sentences.

So please get ready. You can have a pencil and paper and you can write down some actually points some words and at the end of this lesson.

Do not forget to use these words in different examples and you can send me your examples and I can always correct them.

So guys the first word of today’s lesson is reptile. Reptile is a cold blooded animal that creeps or crawls; snakes lizards; turtles alligators and crocodiles.

So all of these animals are called a reptile. cold blooded animal that creeps or crawls as you can see that picture.

This is a very dangerous. Reptile.

a. The lizard is a reptile with a very slender body.

So the essential word here is slender which means something that is very thin and actually light. Slender.

b. Reptiles are kept in the museum’s large hall.

c. A crocodile is a reptile that is more nimble in the water than out of it.

So the essential word in this sentence is nimble which means something that is very fast and very quick. Nimble.

So reptile is a first essential word of Lesson Number 23.

Word number two is rarely. Rarely means something that is seldom or not often. something that seldom happens or hardly ever happens. rarely.

a. You rarely hear adults raving about a movie they just saw.

So the essential words in this sentence is rave. Rave means to speak angrily about something. Raving.

b. People are rarely frank with each other.

Frank is an essential word which means honest. frank.

c. I rarely attend the annual meetings of our family circle.

You can see the essential word annual.

We studied this word in previous lessons which means something that happens yearly.

So annuals means or yearly. rarely.

For example I rarely speak French but I’m going to the French class actually.

The next word is forbid. Forbid.

As you can see in this picture dogs are forbidden here. So forbid means order someone not to do something or make a rule against somebody or something. forbid. Forbid is a verb.

Let’s use it in different examples.

a. Spitting on the floor is forbidden in public places.

b. The law forbids drunken drivers to handle their autos.

c. I forbid you to enter the dense jungle because of the peril that awaits you there.

So there is an essential word in this sentence and that’s dense. dense jungle which means thick jungle.

So this is an essential word forbid which means to order somebody not to do something.

There are two other synonyms forbid and that those are actually ban or and prohibits.

All of these words means actually to order someone or something from happening.

The next word is logical. Logical means reasonable; reasonably expected. Logical.

a. It is logical to spend a minimum on needless things.

That’s a very good actually sentence and the essential word here is minimum which means the least possible, minimum.

b. In order to keep your car running well, it is only logical that you lubricate it regularly.

Do you know the meaning of lubricate? lubricate.

We studied this word in the early lessons of five-four.

So when you lubricate your car you grease your car actually. You oil your car in order to make it wrong. Very well.

c. I use the logical argument to persuade Laster to leave.

So the essential word here again is persuade which means to convince somebody or to make somebody believe something.

Logical, reasonable.

The next word is exhibits, exhibits. you can see the picture of exhibit here.

They exhibit can be the verb and the noun. exhibit means to show something or we can speak about to display.

So we can speak about the place or we can speak about the verb ways to show something.

Let’s use this word in different examples.

a. A million dollar microscope is now on exhibit at our school.

Yes microscope is a very actually advanced device that make small things bigger.

b. The bride and groom exhibited their many expensive gifts.

Expensive means something of high price.

So here exhibit means to show something.

c. Kim frequently exhibited her vast knowledge of baseball before compete complete strangers.

That’s very nice.

So frequently here means something that happens actually regularly.

So she regularly shows her vast knowledge her information her data of baseball before complete strangers.

So do not actually ignore this word.

Do not forget this word. Exhibit is a verb and sometimes we use it as a noun and that’s exhibition. Exhibition.

Proceed, Proceed. Proceed means to go on after having stopped or move forward.

Proceed is a verb.

Let’s use it in different examples.

a. Only those with spatial cards can proceed into the pool area.

b. When the actor was late, the show proceeded without him.

The senator proceeded to denounce those wholesalers who would deprive Americans of their quota of beef.

Oh my God.

We have many many essential words in this sentence.

The first one is denounce which means to criticize somebody. wholesales means selling in large quantities

Deprived mean is actually to take somebodies right to take somebody actually is right from doing something of the last word quota which means a share or so we studied all of these essential words in this sentence and previous lessons.

But if you cannot remember or don’t know the meaning of these words I suggest you to come back and review those words and understand them.

The next word is precaution. Percussion means measures taken beforehand or foresight. Percussion.

a. Detectives used precaution before entering the bomb’s vicinity.

Guys do you know the meaning of vicinity?

This is the essential word. vicinity means neighborhood as I told it before in previous lessons. This entity is neighborhood.

b. We must take every precaution not to pollute the air.

Pollute means to make dirty. pollute.

This is the essential word of this sentence.

Before igniting the fire the hunters took unusual precaution.

The essential word in this part in this sentence is ignite which means to make something to set something on fire.

So this is the essential word of this part percussion.

The next word is extract, extract a means to pull out or throw out usually with some effort. Extract.

Extract is usually used as a verb.

a. Dr. Fogell extracted my tooth in an amateur fashion.

In an amateur way in an inexperienced to way.

So amateur means something or somebody who is an experienced. Amateur.

Chemists extracted the essential vitamins from the grain.

So essential is an essential word which means very very important very very essential.

Spencer was ingenious in extracting information from witnesses.

The essential word here is ingenious which means somebody who is very clever and smarts.

So this is the meaning of this word pull out.

Extract

The next essential words of prior. Prior means coming before or earlier.

That’s the meaning of prior. prior to choosing which means before choosing.

So guys prior to choosing means before choosing.

So prior to choosing his life’s vocation Paul travelled to India.

Can you guys tell me the meaning of vocation?

We studied this word in previous lessons.

Vocation means job or profession.

So remember that prior always comes with two.

b. Marina was unhappy prior to meeting her beau.

c. President Obama had prior service as a senator.

That’s the meaning of prior.

That’s a very essential and very necessary word. prior.

Let’s jump to the next words.

Embrace, embrace. As you can see in this picture the girl and the boy embraced each other.

So embrace means to hug one another or we can say a hug.

a. After having been rivals for years, the two men embraced. Yes.

Essential word here is rival which means can you remember the meaning of rival? Rival is a person who competes against other people. Rival or we can say opponent.

When Ellen’s spouse approached, she slipped out of Doug’s embrace.

Very nice. We have two essential words here and the first one is spouse which means husband or wife.

The next one is approach which means to come near to somebody. Approach.

c. The young girl was bewildered when this stranger embraced her.

Yes she must be actually bewildered.

Can you guess until me the meaning of bewildered? We had studied this word in previous lesson.

Bewildered means to be confused, to be puzzled. Bewildered.

That’s a very nice word. Embrace

Next word is Valiant. Valiant means brave and courageous. As you can see in this picture, these birdies valiant.

a. Robin Hood was valiant and faced his opponents without fear.

That’s very good.

Robin Hood is a very courageous and very brave person.

The essential word here his opponent.

Can you tell me the meaning of these words? Actually opponent means a person who competes against others or we can say your rival.

b. The valiant paratroopers the valiant paratroopers led the invasion.

c. Grandma Joad had the ability to be valiant when the need arose.

She had the ability. she had the capability.

Actually she had the capacity. that’s a very nice word.

Valiant brave and courageous.

Let’s understand the next word. The next word is partial. Partial means not complete or not total.

When you speak about something that is not complete we say that’s partial.

a. We made a partial list listing of the urgently needed supplies.

So the essential word here is urgent. Urgent be something that is very necessary.

b. Macy’s had a sale on a partial selection of its winter clothes.

Using only a partial amount of his great speed, Jim surpassed all the other runners.

So surpassed means to do better than other people to be the best.

So surpass means to excel and we studied this essential word in previous other lessons as well.

So these were twelve essential words we studied in this lesson number twenty three I hope you have understood them and do not forget to make examples with these words and do not forget to understand these words in the next story.
