let’s see. we have about 60.

60? Okay; Are we gonna have the invitations printed?

well I was thinking why don’t we make them ourselves?

it’s a lot cheaper and I could do them on the computer.

we can get some really nice paper and make our own design.

that’s a really good idea; let’s do that.

2:

have we booked a photographer yet?

No; are we hiring one?

They’re so expensive.

yeah but we want to have nice wedding pictures.

that’s true; well maybe instead of having them taken by a professional, we can ask my dad; he loves taking pictures.

I’m sure he’d say yes.

I’m not sure that’s a good idea.

your dad will be busy talking to people.

he’s the father of the bride.

I think we should hire a professional.

Mark, we don’t have the money, but I guess you can ask one of your friends to take pictures instead of my dad.

Molly! it’s our wedding. we need a professional photographer.

I’ll find one that’s not too expensive, don’t worry about it.

3:

what are we doing about a wedding cake?

well I was gonna get it made, but then aunt Jackie said she would make it, as a gift.

ah that’s so nice of her; she makes amazing cakes.

yeah and she’s gonna have it delivered to the reception.

she says she can’t carry herself, so we’ll just have to pay for the delivery.

Perfect; so that’s one thing we don’t need to worry about.

Yeah!

4:

I’m so excited about my wedding dress, I found a great place to get it made.

I’m gonna have it designed and everything.

oh really? but I was thinking I don’t know, I thought maybe my mom could make your dress.

Your mom? but she doesn’t so.

yes she does; she sews all kinds of things.

Well, cushion covers and things not wedding-downs!

dressmaking is completely different.

Anyway, I already have an appointment.

I’m going to have it fitted tomorrow.

but it would be so much cheaper if my mother made your dress.

Mark I’m not gonna change my mind on this.

I’m going to the dressmakers to have it made by professional; it will be beautiful.

just wait and see.

5:

what should we do about flowers?

Flowers? do we need flowers?

of course we do!

I need to carry flowers and so did the bridesmaids, and then we need some for the tables at the reception.

oh okay fine. Well, you choose.

Okay, but you can help.

I mean, what do you like?

Roses, Lilies…

Um… I don’t know anything about flowers; why don’t you just get the people at the flower shop to help you?

Okay, good idea.

6:

you know, I think we have decided on almost everything for the wedding.

thank goodness for that!

Well, everything except the honeymoon.

Honeymoon?

Yeah, that’s your job.

you have to decide on somewhere for us to go; somewhere nice and romantic and I make it a surprise for me.

I do? I was thinking we could visit my cousins!

Visit your cousins? Mark?!
