A. Listen. Emma and Lloyd are speculating about the young girl at the graduation ceremony. What guesses do they make?

Hey, look. That girl over there must be graduating.

From college? Are you kidding? She can’t be more than 12.

Well, she’s wearing a cap and gown.

Huh. She must be a genius.

Sure, but she must study a lot, too.

Yeah, probably all the time. I mean, she can’t have too many close friends here. She’s so much younger than everyone.

Well, the guy she’s talking to might be one of her friends.

He could be. Or he may be one of her professors.

True… Oh, look. Those must be her parents- the people with the cameras.

Yeah. They must be feeling pretty proud.
