A. Listen to Dave talk about a restaurant he went to last week. What do you find out about it? Circle the correct words.

I went to a great restaurant last week. It’s called Madras. Do you know it?

No, it sounds Indian. Is it?

Yeah and they have great food really good fish and shrimp dishes, and ….

So what’s it like for vegetarians? I don’t eat fish or meat.

Oh, it’s great for vegetarians. They have good vegetable curry dishes and side dishes like spinach with cheese.

So what did you have?

I had a stake.

You did? In an Indian restaurant? You didn’t have curry?

Well. I had a small vegetable curry too but I like steak.

Oh, well I like Indian food and the service is usually really good in Indian restaurants too.

Oh yeah, the servers were very good, very friendly. And we didn’t have to wait long after we ordered. And it’s a fun place too, you know it is a good fun atmosphere. Lots of young people there.

So you recommend it, then? Maybe you can take me there this week?
