Mark: You did? You poor thing!

Eve: Then today I took my driver’s test.

Mark: Finally! How did you do?

Eve: I passed.

Mark: You did? Congratulations!

Eve: Thanks. It’s a nice birthday present.

Mark: It’s your birthday? Happy birthday! Do you have any plans?

Eve: Well, I have an interview tonight at the hospital - I want to volunteer there.

Mark: Good for you. Well, good luck with the interview.
