In the armchair near the door. Did you see anyone before the shot? Yes, I saw Wilson the butler. He was carrying some plates to the dining room.

Did you see Adams? Well, I didn’t see him. But I heard him. He was repairing the car outside the living room window. He was listening to the radio and singing. Did you see Mrs. Claire before the shot? No I didn’t. But I heard her when she arrived. She came in the back door and went to the kitchen. What time was that? About 1:45. She always arrives at that time.

So what happened? Well, I heard a shot and then I heard a crash. I think Wilson dropped the plate. And what did you do? When I heard the shot I went to the library. I met Wilson and Adams in the hall. When we saw my father I went to telephone the police. Then I saw Mrs. Claire. What was she doing? She was in the hall. She was telephoning the police. Was she wearing gloves. Yes, she was. She was wearing rubber gloves. Thank you Ms. Ross.
