Unit 20- B

1. I would like to teach more, but it’s really difficult with my two very small children. So I find it works pretty well, just teaching in the mornings. Then I can spend time with them in the afternoon.

2. It’s quite different from being at school. Er, I live away from home now, and I have to manage my own money. But I like the freedom of it, oh yes …

3. The uniforms are so expensive, that’s the worst thing.

But Nick and Christina do like the school, so at least we don’t have to force them to go off there every morning. They take sandwiches - it’s cheaper than school lunches.

1. In my day, pupils were very polite and always said, ‘Good morning, Mrs. Nichols,’ and, you know, opened the door for you and so on.

I’m glad I’m not teaching any more - too old for it these days.

1. It’s fun when our teacher reads us stories in the afternoon, after lunch, and I like it when we play games. But sometimes the lessons are a bit difficult and I need extra help.
