Sophie: Look, let’s sort out a few details for this leaving party of Trevor’s, shall we?

Sally: Yes, OK, Sophie. It’s quite soon, isn’t it?

Sophie: In a couple of weeks’ time, the 27th.

Now, have you booked the restaurant, Sally?

Sally: No. Oh, I thought you were going to! Oh dear, I am sorry! Um, I’ll do it straightaway. Which one did we decide on?

Sophie: Otello’s. Better write it down: O.T.E. double L.O. apostrophe S. You know, the one in Spring Street. I hope they can still fit us in.

Sally: Me too!

How many of us will there be?

Sophie: Fifteen, all on one big table. We’ll want to book the table from about 7.30,1 should think.

Sally: OK. Oh, it’ll be sad saying goodbye to Trevor, won’t it? How long’s he been here?

Sophie: For ten years. It’s a long rime! But we’ll give him a good send-off. Tell Otello’s we’ll want them to do their best!

Sally: Oh yes! Perhaps they could make a special cake, with his name on?

Sophie: Yes, good idea. And after the meal we could go on to a club perhaps, for a bit of dancing.

Sally: Oh yes, that sounds great! But it might mean being a bit late for work the next morning!
