Now, the year is2009. It is two thousand nine, but after twelve o’clock tonight, it will be2010. It is two thousand ten, but I heard someone say twenty ten. I do not know which name is correct. Anyway, however you say it, I think people figure that both names are OK! Tonight I will go to the park with my friends as city hall will hold their New Year’s Eve party there. They are going to have many singers and bands on stage. I think their voices are good to listen to! They are all excellent. I admire them very much. Finally, everybody is going to do the New Year countdown together. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one… Happy New Year!! Wow! It’s midnight! It will be a very exciting time! BANG! BANG! Then, we will watch the fireworks in the sky. It is always a wonderful time. Happy New Year to everyone in2010.
