Today was a special day. Tom’s father drove the car and took the family to a restaurant to have a big meal. Tom asked his father why he took them to the restaurant. Tom’s father smiled and didn’t answer the question. At the restaurant, they ate a big meal and drank a lot of drinks. After the meal, Tom’s mom took the cake out and said, “ Happy Birthday!” Suddenly, Tom realized that today was his birthday. He smiled. His family sang a birthday song to him. He was so happy today.
