Student’s Book - Page 76 - 1
Listen and tick the box.
1) Where did Paul find the book? Listen, I’ve got a great book about dinosaurs. It’s fantastic. Did you get it from the library? No, I found it. You found it? In the street? No, I was in the cellar. Ad there was this box. I opened it. And there it was. Wow, fantastic.
2) Where did the dinosaurs in the book live? I really love the book. It was about dinosaurs. Yes, you said so. Guess where they lived. In a forest? No they didn’t. It’s a funny book really. The dinosaurs didn’t live in a forest. Uh I know. They lived underwater, in a lake. No, they didn’t live underwater. They lived in an old castle.
3) What did they eat? The dinosaurs lived in a castle. What kind of food did they eat there? Well, what do you think? They ate all the trees near the castle. No they didn’t. Oh really? So, they ate mice and other small animals. No they didn’t. They loved the vegetables in the garden.
4) What happened to the book? So, are you still reading the book? No I’m not. I finished it on Monday. So can you give it to me please? No sorry I can’t. Come on. What’s that book under your bed? It’s another book. From the library. I see, did you give it to your sister for her birthday? No I didn’t. I took it to school. But when I came home. It wasn’t in my bag anymore.
5) What did Paul give his sister? So you didn’t give Sarah the book. No I didn’t. She doesn’t love book very much. What does she like? She loves sports. Oh really, did you give her a skateboard? No I didn’t. Skateboards are very expensive. So tell me. What did you give her? I gave her a cap. A cap? Yes. She sometimes plays tennis. And she can wear it, when she plays tennis. That’s a good idea.
