You’re probably wondering why it took me so long to publish a new episode. Well, I have a good excuse. Do you know what happened to me? I’ve been redecorating some rooms in my house.

I’ve been planning this for over a year, and I must confess that I’ve been too optimistic. I really thought that changing the decor of the house would be as easy as buying new furniture, a new couch and painting the walls.

However, as you can imagine, things were not that simple.

I must confess that I love decorating, but this time I had too many options, I just couldn’t make up my mind, and I was postponing because I had too many ideas.

One of the quickest ways to refresh a room’s appearance is to paint the walls. In theory, you should choose a color that complements your personality and fits your space.

Although first I had to find out the color of the furniture to match the color of the walls. In general, I want the room to look clean but also modern and a little sophisticated.

I also had to keep in mind that if I buy too much furniture, it will look too crowded, but if I didn’t buy enough furniture, it would look empty and poor. So I had to find a balance.

Size is also important because you could buy furniture that is too big or too small. Small furniture in a large room can look ridiculous though it’s not a good idea to add big furniture in a room either. You can imagine how terrible it would look.

And, of course, you have to stick to one style, as there are several options.

Colors are challenging to combine sometimes. As much as we like a color we have to take into account how it will look with the rest of the furniture and textiles.

For example, the color of the furniture can affect the color of the walls.

So it’s vital to know how to combine colors.

And once you’ve chosen the furniture, you have to start buying the accessories. Lamps, pictures, plants, curtains, are also crucial for the ambiance.

So after months of planning what type of furniture, the best wall color, or what decorative elements would fit best, I threw in the towel and hired an interior designer.

And to my surprise, it was the best decision ever. Because the whole process got a lot easier and much faster. In only three weeks my dining room was redecorated from scratch.

And what’s the conclusion here? That sometimes is better to ask for help.

Although I love decoration, I’m happy I hired an interior designer to guide me through the process.

A professional decorator. She hired a professional to help her decorate.

Georgiana decorated her dining room all by herself. Right?

No. No. She did not decorate her dining room by herself. Instead, she hired a professional decorator.

Did she hire a lawyer?

No. No. She didn’t hire a lawyer. She needed to redecorate her dining room, so she hired an interior designer.

So Georgiana needed to paint the walls in a week.

Did Georgiana need to paint the floor?

No. Not the floor. Georgiana needed to paint the walls.

What did Georgiana need?

She needed to paint the walls.

Since she did not know how to paint the walls, Georgiana had to find an excellent painter.

Was Georgiana an excellent painter?

No. No. She wasn’t an excellent painter. In fact, she didn’t know how to paint a room.

What did Georgiana need? Did she need to think about the color of the walls?

No, she didn’t need to think about the color of the walls. Georgiana had to find a painter.

Did she look for a lousy painter?

No. No. She didn’t look for a lousy painter. She looked for an excellent painter.

Luckily one hour before the delivery of the furniture, everything was ready.

When was everything ready? Two hours before the delivery?

No. Not two hours before the delivery. Everything was ready only one hour before the delivery of the furniture.

One hour before what?

One hour before the delivery. Everything was ready only one hour before the delivery of the furniture.

Georgiana was finally relaxed because everything was ready for the delivery of the furniture.

Yes, everything was ready for the delivery of the furniture.

Was Georgiana stressed out?

No. No. Georgiana wasn’t stressed out. She was relaxed.

Why was Georgiana relaxed?

Because everything was ready for the delivery of the furniture.
