2) Arthur. Hello Clearview opticians. How can I help you? Hello, my name is Arthur Jackson. I’ve got an appointment at 4:10 next Wednesday. But am afraid I can’t make it now. I’m playing basketball after school. Okay, would you like to make another appointment? Yes please. Just a minute then. Can you come tomorrow morning at 10:30? It’s Saturday, so you won’t be at school. No, I’m afraid that’s no good for me. We’re going to a wedding this weekend. Oh, well it will have to be later next week then. Is 4:30 next Friday any good? That’s 18th of October. Friday the 18th, Yes that will be fine. Okay, so we’ll see you at 4:30 on Friday, 18th of October. Yes, thank you very much, goodbye. Goodbye.

3) Olivia. Hello. Hi Carmen, it’s Olivia. You know we were going to the cinema this Sunday afternoon. Well, I’m afraid I can’t make it now. We’re visiting my grandparents. Oh right. Sorry, can we make it another day? What about tomorrow evening? No, that’s no good for me. I’m babysitting for my neighbors. What about Monday after school then? Yes, good idea. That’ll be great.
