Look, Smart Alec. There’s a car stopping by the gate.

There’s a man climbing over the gate now.

Yes, and I can see a woman standing by the car.

It’s very dark. I can’t see the man now, can you?

Yes, there he is! I can see him opening that window near the front door. Come on. We’ll get him when he comes out.

Listen, Sweet Sue. I can hear someone coming to the front door. I think the burglar’s coming out that way. Come on. Let’s get him.

Quick! Put the handcuffs on him, Smart Alec.

We’ve got him!

Just a minute, Smart Alec. I can see someone climbing out of that window. It’s the burglar!
