Well, my name’s Wang Chen and I speak several languages fluently - Malay, because my dad’s Malaysian, Mandarin Chinese, because my mother’s Chinese, and English, because I was sent to an English school, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. That’s where we live.

I speak a little Arabic, too, and a bit of German. I think the language I like best is Chinese, because that’s what I speak with all my friends. I suppose I’m best at speaking Malay, but when it comes to writing I’m much better at English than anything else.

I really want to travel to other countries in the future, then my German, Arabic and English will all get better. Listening’s usually the big problem for me - people speak so fast!
