Well, it’s my boyfriend Lewis I’m worried about. I mean, we’ve been going out for two months now, and he doesn’t really talk to me!

He’s the strong, silent type, I suppose, fantastically good looking, but he’s never said much, and lately he’s almost stopped talking completely! I mean, the other day we went out for coffee. He’d just finished work - he works in a garage - and I was telling him about what happened in college that day. We got our exam papers back and Richie Hunk and I got the top marks!

And when I finished I said, ‘So, what do you think of that then, Lewis?’ and he said, ‘What?’ And so I said, ‘You’re not listening to me, Lewis!’ - you know, quite firmly - and he just said, ‘Sorry, Bella.’ Sorry, Bella! That’s all he could think of to say!

And then when I was telling him about my art project - the college say I’m doing really well on it and they might put it on show to the public! Richie Hunk says it’s great! - guess what? He turned away! He actually turned away! I couldn’t believe it!

‘Lewis,’ I said, ‘Lewis, if you aren’t prepared to listen to me, I don’t think I’m prepared to talk to you,’ and I went straight home. I just can’t understand why he’s like this.
