Thank you for calling Little Stoke Manor, where our new programme of activities will be starting in four weeks’ time. We have an intensive weekend of French, or you could choose Portuguese. And this year, for the first time, we are offering intensive Russian or Japanese.

These are all lined up for the first weekend in May, with a week’s course on Writing Short Stories to follow, taught by that wonderful writer David Malcolm, and then, starting on the 1st of June, our one-to-one tennis coaching with Alistair Ridley, lasting for two weeks.

Next on the programme is a weekend course on finding out about your family history, led by Lizzie Windrush, whose own family has been a fascinating study. That’s on the 6th and 7th of June. Next is our very popular yoga course, running every Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks from the 9th of June - the teacher is Annabel Vickers, as usual.

And then another weekend course, this time on Understanding the Internet, with our computer expert, Dave Smith, on the 13th and 14th of June. Finally, we have our summer course on Modern Art, taught by our old friend Peter Dennis, for the last two weeks of June. We do hope there’s something of interest to you.
