Well, you wouldn’t believe how awful it was! I mean it’s not as if it was cheap. It cost us a fortune! £3,000 for the two of us, and Barbara really thinks we should get some of our money back.

I mean, Travel International is supposed to be a good company, isn’t it? Well, that’s what Barbara thought. A good thing we were only there for ten days. For a start, our room was really small, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned every day! Can you believe it? The Shelton at Hyderabad is a 5-star hotel.

That’s what it said in the brochure anyway. Haven’t you heard of it? And the food, well it was just too hot and spicy. Barbara and I like our food mild, you know. the breakfast - well, they didn’t give us any more than coffee and toast. And Barbara likes a little more than that in the mornings!

You know, cereal, couple of eggs, you know the sort of thing. The service was terrible! And do you know, when Barbara told the waiters how slow they were, they were very rude to her! Well, we didn’t even think much of the excursions, because they just put us on a coach, with no tour guide, and even worse, no lunch!

They did say we’d get breakfast, lunch and dinner included every day, and really, when you pay that sort of money, Barbara says she’s going to have …
