Harry: Hi Adam, do you fancy seeing a film tonight?

Adam: OK, yes, why not? With you and Ellie, you mean? What’s on?

Ellie: Well, you two won’t like it, but I really want to see Hope Floats.

H: Oh, not again, Ellie! You’ve already seen it three times! You must know every word by heart!

E: Look, it’s my kind of film, all right? It’s what I like.

Romantic, and so sad, you know. Makes me cry.

A: Well, OK, but Harry and me, we don’t go for the love interest, do we, Harry? I have a feeling Manhattan’s on, actually - that’s Woody Alien’s best, I think. I’m a real fan of his. He’s so funny!

What do you think, Harry?

H: Yes, that’s a good one. Or how about Blade? It’s supposed to be a brilliant horror movie, full of vampires and the undead, you know the kind of thing. Really scary! How about it, Ellie?

E: Who wants to be scared? You know I really hate horror films. I just never believe in any of that ghostly stuff. Isn’t there anything we can agree on?

A: Maybe we should just go for a coffee instead.

H: Yeah, maybe you’re right.

E: Yeah, OK, why not?
