• Oh, I’m sorry. I think I may already have plans. To go to the movies with my friends.

• Well, my birthday is Saturday and I’m having a little party with some friends. I thought maybe you’d like to come.

• Oh, you know. Listen, I already promised my mother, I took her to the new dance club downtown. She loves to dance and she’s really looking forward to it.

• Oh, I didn’t know your mom like to dance Manuel.
