Listening - What have you done?

Part A - Jamie is on a cruise. Listen to her talk about things she has done. Check the correct things.

• Are you enjoying the cruise Jamie?

• Uh, yes very much. Actually. I won a contest and this cruise was the prize.

• That’s fantastic. Hey, I’ve always wondered something about contests. The cruise left for Miami. So how did they get you there? They fly you there?

• No, I live in Miami. So, I didn’t have to travel at all. I’ve never flown on a plane. But I did get to stay in an expensive hotel in Miami for a day.

• That’s nice.

• Yeah, it was. Oh, and I saw Madonna there. She was in the same hotel.

• Madonna? Really? Did you meet her?

• No. In fact, I’ve never met a famous person. But I think she smiled at me.

• Cool.

• Yeah. And I got to enjoy the hotel activities. I even tried wind surfing.

• Sounds fun.

• Yeah it was. But I did something stupid. I took my wallet with me and almost lost it. I’m always very careful with my wallet and never lost it almost fell into the ocean. Luckily I caught it.

• That was lucky. Well, it sounds like you’ve really enjoyed this trip.

• For the most part. I mean, I’ve been a little seasick but I’ll remember this trip forever. I’ve even kept a diary this whole time so I can tell my friends all about it.

• I’m Sure they’ll love that. Well, enjoy the rest of the cruise.

• Thanks, I will.
