The Importance of Time Management by Stella

Time flies, just like a kite. If you flew a kite, would you let it fly smoothly into the sky, or let it it be blown away by the wind, never to be seen again? If time passed, like a train, would you jump onboard and ride it to places you’ve never even dreamed of, or would you make up your mind to catch another train and let this one pass you by?

If time could stand still, would you freeze the moment so that you could cherish the memories? When I was four years old, I took piano lessons from my music teacher. The music I learned didn’t come from the heart. So, it was painful to learn, and I would often complain. Even when I wanted to” throw in the towel,” my mother would encourage me constantly. Too bad I was lazy. I didn’t practice. One day, I went to a music concert. I listened to them, and thought to myself, “ How stupid am I! Why didn’t I practice piano more? If I had, I’d play really great now! I didn’t, though. I blame myself and regret that I didn’t manage my time better.

Good time management can help you do great things and get something useful out of it. A student’s job is to work hard on their homework. So, good time management is very important to them. If they lose track of time doing other things, like surfiing the Web, playing computer games, etc., I think they will regret it in the future.

Everyone has the same amount of time. Some people will use it well and get a good degree, like become a professor, doctor or something they want. Others will not use their time wisely and will lose everything. That’s why good time management is very important to us. We have to learn how to use our time wisely.
