Last week, I went to the zoo with my mother and younger sister. Before we left for the zoo, we prepared some yummy sandwiches and fruits. We also bought drinks from the convenience store. Then, we took the bus headed for the zoo and looked forward to our trip.

An hour later, we arrived! After we got our tickets, we went to look at all the animals around us. We looked at the birds first. I was observing the birds’ wings very much. They were so cool! We looked at the tigers next. I observed the tigers’ stripes. Each tiger’s stripes are different. We also looked at the hippos. They all have very big mouths and teeth. Giraffes have long necks. They can eat the leaves in high trees. Big elephants have very long noses. They can use their noses to do many things, like take a bath and eat some food, but their cages don’t smell too good. We walked all day. So, we were very tired. My mom took the food out of the bag. Then, we shared our food together. At that time, I was thinking that today was very wonderful. We looked at many kinds of animals, which were all very cute. What a nice day it was today!
