The best friends for people are dogs. They are always balanced. They would never play games with your heart. You could always tell dogs how you really feel, because they would never betray you by telling someone else. They would be very quiet when you are talking. Dogs are good listeners, and you would feel more comfortable when you speak out. I had a dog when I was a senior high school student. She used to be a homeless dog. I picked her up on a rainy day. She was very cold and shuddering. She was afraid of me, too. I hugged her gently to relieve her of her anxiety. She was a miniature Schnauzer. She was friendly, cute, and adorable. I called her“ Happy,” because whenever I met her, she always brought me happiness. As time went by, playing with her became an important thing for me. One day, when I opened the door, something was different. Why wasn’t she barking? I ran to the doghouse to find her still lying on the cushion. She was not breathing. She had died. I cried all night, but it wouldn’t bring her back. It was a long time ago, but I still miss her. In the end, I wanted to say, “ Goodbye, Happy.”
