An Incident by Vincent

It was nighttime. I was sitting on a chair, drinking some water. Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from the garden. I was afraid. I looked out the window, but I didn’t see anything, only a shovel and a pail. I went back to sit on the chair again, but I could still hear the noise. I told my parents about it, but they didn’t believe me. So, I went to bed instead. The next day, I told my friend about it, and he believed me. He said, ” I can go with you and have a look at it.” That night, my friend and I were in the garden and hid up in the tree. Then, we heard a noise and saw a shovel and a pail in the garden. The shovel was digging soil into the pail, and NO ONE was holding the shovel! It was so terrifying! We screamed. Suddenly, the shovel and the pail fell to the ground. We were so afraid! We jumped out of the tree and ran away. The next morning was a Saturday. So, my friend and I took a shovel to dig up the soil in the garden. We dug one meter and found a box. We opened it and screamed again! It was full of bones and ashes! Suddenly, we heard footsteps. I crawled out of the hole, but I couldn’t see anything. Right then, someone grabbed me! . I looked up to see my parents. They asked me why we had dug that hole. I showed the box to them. They said, “ We don’t know where that came from! Let’s put it in the temple.” Since then, no noise has come from my garden.
