1 I was never cut out to be an engineer. I just can’t do the maths. So, yes, on the whole I think changing over to product design was the right decision for me.

2 Whenever we got together to revise, she’d end up moaning about her landlord. She was a good student, but looking back I don’t think the arrangement really worked.

3 I can understand why universities may want to increase tuition fees, but if they increase them threefold, only the rich will be able to afford it.

4 I see the pass rates have gone up again this year. That would never have happened in my day, even though we were much better informed than kids nowadays.

5 Basically, it allows me to pursue my interest in music and keep my job in the recording studio. It’s not so intense either. I’ve got time to think about what I’m learning, absorb it at my own pace.
