Presenter: In today’s programme I’ll continue examining the impact of fame on lifestyle using the style icon Gloria Van Broncken as an example. Before becoming famous in the modelling industry, Gloria had lived in a small village and had never travelled outside her own country.

She used to work in a clothes store and she enjoyed all the usual activities of a teenager in her free time. She’d been working in the clothes store for two years when a customer who represented a model agency spotted her and signed her up.

By the time she was 21 Gloria had travelled round the world several times and had appeared on the cover of many international fashion magazines. Now the impact of such drastic lifestyle changes can be very significant…
